Unleashing Potential
Candidates who are selected for employment tend to display a range of “soft skills” alongside their academic achievements and previous work experience. These interpersonal skills include effective communication, leadership ability, decision making, problem solving and more. Unfortunately, many of these skills cannot be developed in wholly academic or theoretical environments. For example, proving ones reliability, leading others, delivering public presentations, adapting to changing project or environmental changes normally require practical tasks.

Unleashing Potential provides a range of employability skills programmes for students which are appropriate and differentiated to match their ability. These programs teach cognitive and behavioural skills that provide candidates with the aptitudes and skills to resolve work-related problems and succeed in social interactions.

We have delivered such programmes for gifted and talented, at-risk students and young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

The purpose of such programmes is specifically focused at developing:

  • Quality CVs
  • Interview skills
  • Making effective presentations
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • Advanced communications including negotiation, persuasion and influence skills
  • Leadership skills
